Realbird.com I must say has postlets spanked

So I stumbled across this website Realbird.com, to my surprise this is one of the best free listing sites around. The ease of uploading a listing is great. Well wait I wish they had an option to choose multiple photos and upload at once, then I would be completely happy. Now with all my listings I just want to be able to put together information and have it search able and come up in as many places as possible for my clients to get the property sold. I also like doing individual websites for each property something postlets cant accommodate, but Real Bird can. It's so easy to purchase a domain name and link it to your real bird account and site. It's ingenious true web 2.0 at work. If you havent gotten your free account yet, dont delay and head on over to RealBird and see what they have to offer.

I love 'em too!

And even cheaper - since realbird takes you thru the godaddy site anyway.  Go straight to godaddy.com and it's only 10 bucks for the web address and you forward it just the same, versus the 15 for purchasing thru realbird itself.

I may be confused here but I thought Realbird charged something like $19.95 per listing for their full featured product with the mapping and all that.  They have a "free"product but the last two times I used it  I got an automatic e-mail wanting me to buy the "upgrade".

Hey Heather... Thanks for giving us all the bird...  I've been using postlets and real estate shows (which I love) and will be giving them a try too.

Heather - I am still trying to decide how to use RealBird.  While uploading is easy, it seems like just another property listing site.  I'm not crazy about using their flyer page as a single website - I prefer epropertysites.com or vFLyer.com

Heather - I just had a look at real bird and it appeared to me that they give you a free two week trial and then want $19 monthly to carry on and an additional $89 a month to put your listings on their mapping site. If you have a good web presence and manage your own site are you not better put your listings there first with their own web site as a mini site on your site or are you looking at RB as just another form of pid for advertisment.

Kathy to post your listings it's free. To have your information on the map search thing yes it's $89.00 unless you write an active rain blog then they give it to you for free.

The Listing Publisher is completely free with no advertising on the flyers (vs. the free Postlets), our domain name prices are a few dollars higher than regular retail but our support is way better than regular domain name stores. We will also contact Ken directly, he refers to our Map-based IDX Search product which is $19 per month and is a different service from the RealBird Listing Publisher. The Listing Publisher is a listing marketing tool for listing agents and the RealBird MLS Search service is for providing IDX search for home buyers (in 16 MLS markets).
