If you had $750 a month how would you spend it?

So today I received a call from a mortgage company trying to get me to sign up and receive their lender approved leads. I considered it for a long while thinking ok it's not bad receive 30 leads in my area that have loan approval for $750 a month. Then I read the fine print a little more and decided that it wasnt worth it that, that $750 a month could be spent somewhere else.

So if you had an extra $750 a month to spend on your business whether it's for marketing, internet, etc.. How and where would you spend it? What do you think would bring you the greatest ROI?

More than likely I'd spend it on direct mail marketing.

Leads would be the last thing on my list.  Classes, equipment, software, advertising, the list can go on and on.  I have tried paying for leads and it was not worth my time or money.

I find my great ROI comes from spending money sponsoring my kids schools and past clients.

Direct mailing to a farm area.   I love Color for Real Estate and their quality of cards.  There custom ones are great...   www.cfre.com

Local Advertising and self marketing. There has been such an influx of new comers from the DFW metro-plex to our area, I need to "get my face" out there to those that may not know me.

I would spend it on direct mail campaigns, my website, and internet advertising. That's what has worked for me in the past.

I spend a lot of energy on personal marketing, direct mail marketing and advertising.  I've had calls to purchase leads and passed them up because our franchise is providing over 300 leads per month and its all I can do to keep up.

No way....I would rather spend that on other things. I have bought into referral programs and have gotten nothing in return. Think like our clients - go for consumer value! I get more out of self promo and web sites that have nominal fees.

An extra $750, I would spend it on some SEO, sign up for Yahoo Directory and Business.com.  Then I'd wrap the old Durango and trek out to get more listings.

More listings = more leads

Buying referrals never pays. I have sponsored my kids teams, but in this market and the Internet age I would look at up grading my web presences.

No. No. No. I don't buy leads. I'd spent part of that each month on education and the rest of it taking clients out to meals, events - to stay in touch with them and let them know they're appreciated.

For $750, you could sponsor your own local cable television program!

I would use the money to take one trip a month to other cities, starting with Vegas.  If nothing else I would send family away with the money and get some work done.

I would spend it on treats for other agents in my local market.  Just little things like cookies and cakes along with info about my listings.

Merry Christmas!  I just wanted to come on and tell you that!

I agree with Mary Bowen.

Spreed the $750 on past clients and neighborhood activities.

These are direct connections that you are doing and you get to show off your personality :)
