I dont want to hear a whine come out of you. No ifs, ands, or buts, about it. I dont want to hear I wish they would bring these programs back or why wont these politicians listen. You had your chance and I just dont want to hear it.
There
was a rally today in front of Sen. Bill Nelson's office. There were
blogs, emails, phone calls getting the word out about the rally to
promote the HHR 6694 bill. The bill dies at the end of the year but the
new HHR 6694 bill will be put on the forefront of the House of
Representatives agenda when they reconvene at the beginning of the
year. The house has amazing support for this bill, however we need to
rally the Senate and not just to give a thumbs up but to understand and
rally behind the bill.Agents you had your chance today to have your voices heard, to stand tall and proud and show your support for your industry, for the items that affect us and our clients. But where were all of you? Too busy, you say? Hog wash. At high noon stood 3 of us, signs in hand rallying downtown Orlando's support. The numbers slowly grew but we had a total of 7 people. Pathetic if you ask me. Are you saying there are only 7 of us in the industry that care about this bill. Only 7 of us not lazy enough to get up and do something about it.
I realize there are those of you against it, read the bill first before you make your decision. This is not the reason we are in this mess.
